As you can imagine, medical care in Haiti is limited and very expensive. Wanderson Orphanage does their best to care for the kids, primarily through prevention. Clean water, Healthy meals, and Hygiene.



Emergency Surgery - Not Cheap!





In 2024 two kids need medical treatment.

Wally, a 9 year old boy, had a ruptured appendix! He needed life saving emergency surgery, oxygen, and anti-biotics. Fortunately, with help from the Orphanage, and prayer, Wally survived. The bill was $1800 USD. Cheap by US standards, but a small fortune for Haitians!



Wally Made a Full Recovery!





Fortunately, Wally survived and is back to his old happy self! Praise the Lord! With 20-30 kids how long will it be before the next medical issue arises? It would be nice to have money in the bank for such emergencies.
